86th Oscar 2014

Hari ini Senin pukul 7 pagi Saya sudah ada di Epicentrum XXI Jakarta untuk menghadiri acara nonton bareng Oscar 2014. Acara ini diselenggarakan oleh Fox Premium HD Indonesia yang bekerja sama dengan 21 group. Beberapa filmmaker seperti Rony P Tjandra, Emil Kusumo, Daniel Irawan dan masih banyak lagi turut hadir. Juga para media. Acara dimulai tepat pukul 8:30. Suasana exciting terasa sekali, berharap film jagoannya membawa pulang Oscar. Saya pun memiliki jagoan sendiri untuk kategori Best Original Screenplay, Best Production Design, Best Animation Feature dan Best Motion Picture. Berikut daftar para nominasi dan pemenangnya

Acara Oscar 2014 ini sangat menghibur. Ellen Degeneres sebagai pemandu acara sangat pandai mencairkan suasana dengan jokes yang smart. Ada 2 momen yang tidak terlupakan, yaitu Pizza Man yang mengantar 3 kotak pizza untuk para tamu Oscar dan juga ini

Untuk tahun ini film yang berhasil membawa Oscar terbanyak adalah Gravity dengan total 7 Oscar.  Mereka pantas mendapatkannya mengingat produksinya memakan waktu 5 tahun.

Saya cukup puas jagoan Saya untuk Best Original Screenplay dan Best Production Design berhasil mendapatkan puas. Alasannya Her adalah film yang sudah bagus dari skripnya, bisa kita lihat pada dialog-dialognya yang bermakna walau sederhana. Sedangkan untuk Catherine Martin, dia sangat berhasil membangun suasana megah ala era tahun 20-an untuk The Great Gatsby.

Saya menjagokan The Wind Rises karena Ghibli selalu menghasilkan animasi yang indah. Dan Her for Best Motion Picture, Her just very unique movie.
